From April 17 to 20, Mr. Qinghai WANG, Chairman of JCHX Mining, inspected the Kinsey project, Bor project and Peki project in Serbia and made instructions on safe production, standardized management and cost-efficiency while extending his regards to both Chinese and foreign employees.
Accompanied by the project management team and the Owner, Mr. Wang inspected the works at -200mL, -260mL and service decline of Kinsey project, with focuses placed on UG maintenance chamber and the production organization of the 1-5 large-diameter LH stopes. During when he requested the project to strictly control the quality of the functional zone management, equipment maintenance and repair, guarantee the quality of the pre-support before LH blasting & stoping and the support afterwards, and enhance the technical communication with the Owner’s engineers on characteristics of sublevel open stoping and backfilling method with large diameter long holes to ensure safe, precise, and efficient mining with maximum economic benefits.
At -260mL of the Kinsey project, Mr. Wang inspected the drilling drives at the bottom of the initial mining stope, emphasized the importance of safe mining at new levels, and urged the acceleration of ventilation system establishment to prepare for rapid production at new levels. At the workface of -320mL service decline, Mr. Wang specifically instructed the management and workers to strictly implement the principle of carrying out support immediately after development to guarantee production safety.
On April 19, focusing on the technical quality and the implementation of standardized management of safe and civilized production, Mr. Wang headed to the UG crushing chamber, unloading chamber and the west vein of the service decline. At crushing chamber where the concrete pouring is ongoing, Mr. Wang urged the project to attach importance to site management, strictly adhere to standardized work procedures, carry out procedure control in detail and down to earth, and improve the awareness of safety and quality.
During his visit, Mr. Wang introduced the core connotation, implementation methods and approaches of the Mining Management 4.0, emphasizing that while standardization requires upfront investment in manpower, materials, and finances, the returns in terms of safety, efficiency, quality, etc. far exceed the costs. When discussing cost reduction and efficiency improvement, he emphasized that it is not merely about cutting costs but scientifically calculating the input-output ratio and achieving continuous improvement in operational management through system optimization, cost control, and innovation and effectiveness.
At the Shalkiya project, Mr. Wang went to the -80mL crushing chamber, -126mL transfer chamber, and the raise boring face, emphatically inspected the production organization at each planned node of the chamber and the ore pass, and requested the project to conduct regular inspections of site safety measures, effectively manage formwork materials, and ensure that concrete quality meets standards. When carrying out the inspection of equipment maintenance areas, he emphasized the importance of ensuring the equipment operation environment and enhancing supervision of equipment operation areas such as roads and ditches and stressed that cleaning as the first step in lubrication maintenance should be complete and the necessity for regular assessment and training for equipment operators to continuously enhance their professional skills. When arriving at the workface of the traction chamber at -145mL, Mr. Wang specifically instructed the management and operation personnel to strictly adhere to the large section chamber construction method and support plans, fully consider the roof's capacity, and continually monitor roof water conditions, with preemptive measures in place and the adoption of the principle of conducting support immediately after excavation to ensure production safety.
Mr. Wang delivered a lecture on its core connotation from the aspects of system construction, implementation goals and approaches, and the application of IT platforms. He underscored that management and technical personnel should fulfil their duties diligently, concretely conduct training and assessment of workers, further elevate standardized operation levels to make standardized management a routine practice, and effectively improve management precision and standardization. When talking about how to implement the Mining Management 4.0, Mr. Wang said that the Shalkiya project should utilize the breakdown table of safety inspection as basis to rigorously evaluate the effectiveness and quality of safety duties performance, reinforce training on safety inspection methods, further promote the "finger pointing and verbal dictating" approach, to strengthen employees' safety behaviors. The technical management department should steadily and efficiently advance the online reporting system, which includes the timely uploading of documents such as construction plans and completion acceptance, and promote the site application of 3D laser scanners to keep technical tools up-to-date. The department at all levels should enhance the management of equipment operating environment, and promote the standardization of civilized production and further strengthen the management and training of operators, ensuring the strict implementation of eight-words principle for equipment maintenance. Deeply advance budget management. Fully recognize the central role of overall budget management.
